Terms of use

Plain-language terms, last updated July 2026. Writing to hello@foolmade.art gets you a human if anything here is unclear.

1. What Foolmade is

Foolmade (foolmade.art) is a web studio for indie tarot and oracle deck creators: card organizing, print pre-flight checks, mockups, cost planning, and public deck pages. The free plan covers all of that. Pro is a one-time $29 upgrade per deck that removes mockup watermarks, lifts the 100-follower waitlist cap, and adds the follower list CSV export.

2. Your art is yours

You keep every right to the art you upload. By uploading, you give us only the narrow permission we need to run the site for you: storing your files, rendering your previews, mockups, and print checks, and displaying the cards you choose to reveal on your public pages. That is the whole list. We do not sell, license, or share your art. We do not use it to train AI models, ours or anyone else's. We never generate or edit artwork. Delete a deck and its files are deleted with it.

3. Honest about how it's made

Foolmade leans human-made and the signed pledge is its centerpiece, but we do not ban tools and we do not police art. What we enforce is honesty: the human-made pledge is signed by you, appears only where you claim it, and misrepresenting how a deck was made, in the pledge or to buyers, can get a deck removed or an account closed. If your process mixes tools, say so plainly; honest work is welcome.

4. Your account

Keep your password safe and your email current. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may close accounts that abuse the site, other creators, or their followers.

5. Payments and refunds

Pro is $29, once per deck, handled by Stripe; card details never touch our servers. If Pro did not deliver what it promised, write to hello@foolmade.art within 14 days and we will make it right or refund it.

6. Followers and comments

Follower emails collected on your deck page belong to your deck: you can export them (Pro) and we will not email your followers for our own purposes. Comments are moderated by the deck's creator; be kind or be hidden.

7. The honest limits

Foolmade is provided as-is. Print checks compare your files against printer specs we keep as current as we can, but your printer's own proof and quote always prevail; do not skip the proof. We are not liable for a print run gone wrong, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us for the deck in question.

8. Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page with a new date, and for anything that reduces your rights, by email first.
