The Fool

A ragged man stands on bare ground with a club over his shoulder, torn white hose slipping down his legs and seven feathers stuck in his hair. Usually read as a village simpleton; the feathers have been tied to the seven deadly sins, though nobody is sure. Like every trump in the deck he carries no name and no number.
