A full-faced moon looks straight out of the card, a Type I trait, over two dogs on a bank between towers and a crayfish in the pool below. The BnF catalogue notes the initials I.P. tucked into the design, unexplained; the deck's engraving is usually attributed to Jacques Mermé of Chambéry.
