Deux d'Épées

from The Jean Dodal Tarot, c. 1701-1715

Two curved swords cross and bow out to the card's corners, a four-petaled flower at the center and bud finials top and bottom. The curved pip swords are scimitar-like blades the Marseille pattern inherited from Italian decks.
