The High Priestess

She sits between two pillars marked B and J, Boaz and Jachin from Solomon's temple, with a veil of pomegranates behind her and a crescent moon at her feet. The scroll in her lap reads TORA. The Marseille deck called this card the Papess; Waite renamed her and gave her this temple setting. Hidden knowledge, the thing not yet spoken, the moon and water side of the deck.
