La Justice
from The Conver Tarot de Marseille, blocks of 1760; this printing c. 1809-1833
A crowned woman faces straight out, an upright sword in one hand and scales in the other. Marseille numbers her VIII; this gallery files Justice at eleven so meanings line up across decks, following the renumbering Waite introduced when he swapped her with Strength.
