V d'Épée

from The Conver Tarot de Marseille, blocks of 1760; this printing c. 1809-1833

Four bowed blades weave the frame and a fifth straight sword rises through the middle, V at the sides. On cards this abstract, players counted fast by the shape of the center rather than by tallying blades.
