Folie

from The Grand Etteilla, printed c. 1875-1899, to Etteilla's design of 1788

A man in a blue coat and red cap walks past a doorway, pack and ladle slung on a staff, a spotted animal at his legs. Folie upright and reversed. The Fool, stripped of his zero and filed dead last at 78, still walking; Etteilla kept him but gave him nowhere left to go.
