Numbered X. A wheel with a crank handle stands on its own frame; one beast scrambles up, another slides down, and a small crowned figure with a sword sits on top, sure of its perch. Nobody turns the handle. In the RWS the animals became sphinx and symbols; here it is still a fairground machine.
