As de Bâton

from The Conver Tarot de Marseille, blocks of 1760; this printing c. 1809-1833

A hand in a ruffled cuff emerges to grip a knotted club, sparks and leaf-shaped flames scattered around it. The suit weapon offered out of nowhere; Waite kept the disembodied hand for his aces, sprouting leaves and all.
