A woman with a drawn sword in one hand and a pair of scales in the other, a crane standing on one leg at her feet. Justice, lettered IVSTICIA. The crane, which in the bestiaries holds a stone in its raised foot to stay awake on watch, is an emblem of vigilance; the sword and scales are the same ones every tarot Justice carries.
