Mars enthroned in full armor and helmet, a sword held upright in one hand, inside an architectural niche, with a wolf lying at his feet. The planet's god as a Renaissance captain; the wolf is the animal of Mars. This is the only one of the spheres set in a built setting rather than sky or landscape, and one of the few cards where the gilding touches the architecture.
